Fast forward a few months, I moved house. New school, new friends. Suddenly everything was so much more serious:

All these don'ts. All these rules. Always worrying that I would break one of them and get shouted at.
It affected me deeply. I lost the care-free 'chuck grass cuttings at girls' attitude. I trundled through school, tried to not break any rules (unless I knew I wouldn't get caught), and pretty much stopped talking to girls.
"What The Fu....?"
Girls and their crappy soap operas, dolls and shit were just DULL. I wanted to play pile-on with my mates, or dig a big hole in my garden just for the hell of it. Girls just kinda took a back seat.
Even when I found out that one of the prettiest girls in my class had a crush on me, I didn't even have the balls to talk to her. We exchanged some pretty intense eye contact for a few days, but I never had the courage to speak to her.
"I Dropped The Ball Big Time"
I labeled myself a loser. I decided that I didn't deserve to be with girls 'cos I obviously didn't have any balls.
When I went to big-school I felt even more worthless. I had nasty acne. I started to believe that I was ugly, and that no woman would ever want a pizza-faced loser like me.
I focused on studying, more as a distraction than enything else. I thought if I did really well and got a good job, then women would like me even though I was this ugly loser.
